Fantastic! You're the man! Those seated dimes are hard to come by. What is the thing with the square hole? Looks Chinese!

some quality finds there, i love seated coins, and i like all the crotal bells as well. My Safari didn't come with a quartz or obsidian setting but yours is certainly working finding all those sweet points! Nice job, good hunt.

Thanks the crotal balls seen to be in every field around here in salem county NJ.Also seated are my favorite also and Indians now I just need a 1877 and 1916d.My buddy found a 1793 chain cent in about AU now thats a find lucks S O B

A 1793 Chain Cent in AU condition?!?!?! Holy crap did he find it in a garage? No way a copper chain cent from the dirt would be in AU, unless perhaps it was inside a jar or something. That's a 50,000 dollar find, 1/2 a million if its the strawberry leaf variety, but there are only 4 known to exist I believe. I'd love to see a pic of that chain cent if he has one, that is freakin amazing.

No it is not the starwberry he said it is around 60k.but he is pretty well of and does not need to sell it I will ask himto get me apicturenext timeI hunt with him.By the way it was found in the swedsboro area along the river.

If you're up for doing the research, this may help you id and date the period the Chinese coin was produced, as they do not have specific years that they were stamped.
I think it goes by dynasty & emperor. http://calgarycoin.com/reference/china/china8.htm#tao%20kuang

It seldom gets that good whoo pyy

Yes it is rare I just found 4 new sites from the 1800s that is all plowed fields.I will be there in the am and the best is i have permision already

I've hunted the Swedsboro years ago when I worked at Yamaha, at the Pureland Industrial park many years ago. I hunted an old church in Swedsboro.
