lower rod

Anyone ever try using a longer lower rod for the ctx-3030 or where you can find the lower part that installs on to the coil. Don
 
There was a guy that cut his lower rod and added a section of smaller CF tube to it for added length. I believe his post about it was on a different forum. Lower rod assembly for the new 7000 is a total of 6" longer and will adapt to the 3030 coils but I'll bet it is really expensive. The coiled cable on the stock 11" and 17" coils will handle the added 6" in length.
