LTD and 5" coil

Finaly got back in the game again,been a dry spell for me,to much work and bad weather!! Went to a sight I have hunted before with no good results,but this time took the 5" coil with me to get in and around all the brush and downed limbs,well all I can say is it payed off !! My first triple silver day.1939,43 merc.and a 53 rosie.1924,45 wheats,couple clad coins.Was running sens.80 disc.6 3h tones and Bp mode. That little coil really shines in thick brush and trashy conditions.Thanx for looking....hh rick in mi.

Alright! Rick is on the board! Thats a great way to start off your year, an infield triple! Hey, they are putting a big bypass around Grand Haven, bulldozing houses, digging up old dirt, building a bridge across the river, etc. I just went and scoped it out a little, I'll see if early weekend the construction guys are there or not, and try to keep up with you this year! Good Job, Man!...

Thanx guys!! Mud you definately want to check out the construction sites,i have found some nice coins in them. ez4sure those dimes were all at the 6 inch level,but the solid tone i got with the 5 inch coil at first made me think they were only a couple of inches deep!!. I also dug a clad quarter at 10 inches.....hh rick in mi.

Rick...very nice score. The First Texas 5" DD coil is really amazing. I dug a 6" wheatie the other day with the 5" on Omega. Signal was loud & clear.

Excellent silver day Rick!
A little tip.... something I learned from Tom D. You should be able to run the LTDs sensitivity wide open w the 5" coil, and you will get just as good as depth too because you cant (in most cases) run the big 11" wide open.
