What does everyone use for LTD sensitivity when hunting in an area full of iron (IE. 1860's house site in a farm field) for maximum separation WITH depth? It would seem at some point you're "over detecting" the iron and detecting beyond the edges coil therefore losing good targets.
This weekend will be my first time trying the LTD in that type of hunting. I have been using my Explorer but because of the lengthy nulls, it's not unusual to see a coin on the surface and not be able to detect it - but its ALSO not unusual to wiggle into a small area and get a 6" dime or button. I'm hoping the LTD can get better separation with the same depth - logic says so, but my experience with the 75 is common sense doesn't always translate to reality.
