Machine wont power on... Common defect ???

I was hunting one beach and decided to go someplace else. Machine would not power on.
Went home, charged machine, again. Solid light. Still couldnt power on. My machine is out of warranty,
wonder if anyone else had this problem and cost to repair.

TIA

Mine has not done that. My warranty is gone too. Good luck and let us know what you find!

Sorry to hear that Donna. I only heard that the power button was difficult to press and then after a few weeks it didn’t work. That detector was under warranty.
Best of luck, hopefully the company will take care of it for you, maybe charge you shipping.

The warranty on my 600 expires in December. I only use it on turf and sand, so no leak problems. I saw one authorized repair shop (forgot the name) charges $75 per hour for diagnostic work. If I had to pay that and $350 for a new "pod", I'd opt for a new Vanguish 540 instead. I may just buy the 540 anyway.

Im thinkin its going to be expensive too. I'll give Minelab a call and see what they say.

Thanks to all who replied. Never buy the first of a new model year !!!!!
Thankfully I dont use underwater but still Im out of the water for now. :):):):):):)

Charging up the old Sovereign. Thankfully I still have one that still works !!!
