Making the CTX3030 wireless....

Well, as you know the CTX3030 is considered wireless.... But what would you say to having a set of headphones that were completely wireless for your CTX? It is possible with the new headphones from an up and coming company called Deteknix. They are the W6 headphones that work completely wireless and are compatible with the CTX3030 as well as other model. They are light weight and there is no lag time when you sweep over a signal.

If you have questions about them or would like to purchase them let me know.

I assume these are model specific....? Not interchangeable with other models via a switch or something?

So, That little module replaces the WM10? You attach it to the detector and then that broadcasts signal to the headphones?

I've tried them and the results were very poor. Sound quality was okay on the CTX , better on the etrac , fine on the F75 and below par on the Deus. If you will check this thread you will see that everyone returned theirs for refund because of the "cutting out" problem . http://www.findmall.com/read.php?18,2231347 I believe "blacksea" is totally correct. I also personally had a response from Deteknix stating that EMI interference and cell phone signals can cause the transmitter and headphones to disconnect. If they have solved the issue than more power to them but until I am convinced of that --caveat emptor.

I bought a pair st Bootcxmp and used once. Do far, Zim
Undecided, as the phones dont stay in place easily. I attribute this tonot having cups to go ovrr the ears. Anothrr thing I noticed was some deadspots in audio and I dont think the tones are as accurate as wired headphones. The only other thing is the magnetic mounting pad forsnt stick well to the CTX body. I'll try them a few more times, before making final opinion.
