Managed to get out ...14k in the scoop

Been so very busy this year, tides and weather, work.... I got out and worked an older beach walked thought the coins to get to the better stuff... LOL! on the way back worked the coin patch. I know better than to leave targets! I pulled all but a few of the 87 coins from an area about 125 feet long by 30 feet. The 14k white gold ring was just after second turn point. Was clearly not a coin reading 11-17 but had the solid tone that comes from a ring. I saw in fall out on the fourth scoop and was saying be platinum ... but Ill take 8.0 grams of 14k . It was deep about 12 inches and I am quite sure had I not been gridding at a crawl I might have missed it. But after the first pass I was able to bring up the tone and numbers with a short 4 inch swing.
