Good morning everyone. I had a question maybe someone could help me with. I am new to the manticore, where i am hunting i have a lot of aluminum trash. On my t2 you can just raise the discrimination from low to high. Left of the screen to right. I at this point want to just pick out the silver. Bit i am not clear on how the discrimination on the manticore works. Is there a simple way to raise the discrimination and ignore iron and aluminum?

I think i will. Reading the information from a book might help it sink in. I kind of miss an owners manual. It was part of the fun whenever you got something new. Usually anyway. There is the other extreme, a gazillion page manual just to turn it onTry using the high conductor mode and turning all metal off . Also .. Try purchasing a printed Manticore manual( ebay or Amazon) or download the pdf and it will explain how to discriminate anything you want . Good luck

Yes its a huge plus coming from the stone age on detecting, take full advantage of it , it has helped me , and its free.
Plus its great checking on low tides anywhere you want to check without looking it up.
