Manticore M8 Coil Sweeping Square Tab and Gold Ring Adjusting Tone Break Using Gold Field

Have you found anything searching the top of the boxes .... GROUND .... Makes a different !!
I sure have. What exactly. Few things. First Deus 2 with hf2 will run circles around Manticore with Deus 2 able to dodge foil, canslaw as being potential rings.
You want to see.
Watch these videos.
Manticore - if I would have been using it I wouldn’t have been able to do what I do with Deus 2 in this video. Hope you enjoy. And hope you learn something. It’s about how the ID on the Deus 2 behaves depending on what the coil is over.

Here’s videos.
I show more on this even using manticore and Deus 2 and few other machines. And just imagine. This actually behaves very very close to carbon copy elevated vs in the ground. Granted my ground is classified on the milder side.
So you asked a question and I have answered. Enjoy.

So what else did I learn.
If you own a manticore.
Try the following.
First imagine you are out in a sports field where there is little iron/nails. Yet it could exist.
One 16 penny nail could prevent you from finding a good ring, nicke, etc per sweep of coil. Depending on your approach to target.
So if you will run All Terrwin Low conductor mode. Dial upper ferrous limits using Cusrom. Open up using M11 coil stsrting at number 68 snd open it up about 10 points so 68-78 open in upper ferrous limits.
Get you a 16 penny nail drop s Nickel beside it. Sweep eathcbwhwt happens. Now check running traditionslmupper ferrous limits at preset 7,8 or 9, see what happens.
You will have 360 approach angle to tsrgrt running manticore as I suggest above. And user does get to rotate on tsrget to indeed see Msntocife report traditionally and give a more traditional id. Does this work in the ground? Yep. I have used.

So would you catch me in most sports fields using Manticore with m11 or M9 coils using preset upper ferrous limits 7-9 looking for gold rings/detecting? Nope!

Oh yeah, I have also found bugs with multiple models testing on the foam and 2x4s too. Some of the bugs were using firmware that was in beta status. And reported to manufacturer. Or did video to show. So a manufacturer and users of equipment could see.
You know how lo;g it would take to spot bugs or defects with a metal detector using solely in the wild? It could take along time. Why.. I don’t know what’s exactly under my coil when sweeping, it’s arrangement. Plus I have to maybe have the detector in the configusrion setting else where the bug or defect shows up.

Yeah those elevated tests can have VALUE. Sometimes full value, some times partial value, some times no value. I don’t genrelly dwell much on the no value test.

A little story here..
I was testing a detector (can’t say) which model. I was reporting on it. I didn’t know any better. I had paired a pair of aftermarket small wireless headphones to this detector. And was using it/testing it. I mentioned this not for any real particular reason to manufacturer. Guess what? These headphones or any aftermarket headphones evidently weren’t supposed to pair to this detector. Hmm
And you know what happened after that don’t you?
Naturally manufacturer wanted to know exactly which headphones these were.

Ole Sharp spots things/exposes things. I can tell you this much.
