That's awesome!! I passed through Marshall a year ago and spent the night on my way back to TN. It is kind of a neat town. I didn't know you guys had much musket action down there
 
I understand the Marshall/Longview area had a lot of Confederate troop/supply activity. POW camp at Tyler, Camp Ford. Arms factory, salt production & cotton ginning here in Anderson County.

There was a powder mill, hat factory and other production facilities. No actual fighting as the Yankees were stopped at Mansfield and Pleasant Hill. The Missouri Confederate captial was moved to Marshall Tx during the war.
