guess I am no longer going to buy food at McDonald's....actually haven't in a long time but now have an even more qualified reason not to do so. May they get in line with God's Word before they hold hands with the devil on his way to Hell.

[size=large]We must be careful what we post here! Please be sure to check the facts first as we should with the Bible when we hear things that don't seem to make sense as a Christian. I have personally spoke with Corporate McDonalds. They are claiming that this is a, "fabrication". I cannot confirm that, but that is what they are claiming. I did not find anything related to this story on their web-site although some statements seem suspicious about "diversity". Having said that, we should proceed with caution until one of us can confirm the story came directly from McDonalds! Below is the story circulating for you to read without searching the net as I did for confirmation as I don't want any of you to be exposed to some of the terrible web-sites that are related to this story. <p><font color=blue>McDonald's has signed on to a nationwide effort to promote "gay" and "lesbian" business ventures.

According to McDonald's CEO Jim Skinner,<b> McDonald's will aggressively promote the homosexual agenda.</b> In remarks on McDonald's Web site concerning the company becoming a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), Skinner wrote: "Being a socially responsible organization is a fundamental part of who we are. We have an obligation to use our size and resources to make a difference in the world...and we do."

The company gave an undisclosed amount of money to the NGLCC in return for being recognized as a major promoter of the homosexual agenda. In return, NGLCC placed Richard Ellis, vice president of communications of McDonalds USA, on the NGLCC Board of Directors.

Ellis was quoted as saying: "I'm thrilled to join the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce team and ready to get to work. I share the NGLCC's passion for business growth and development within the LGBT community, and I look forward to playing a role in moving these important initiatives forward."

McDonald's refused to comment to World Net Daily on the placement of its executive on the board of the "gay" advocacy organization but did send an e-mail confirming the corporation's support for the agenda of the homosexual business lobby.

"McDonald's is indeed a Corporate Partner and Organizational Ally of NGLCC. Our vice president of U.S. communications, Richard Ellis, was recently elected to its board of directors," said Heidi M. Barker, senior director of media relations for McDonald

I know that people in the past have challenged American Family Association and Focus on the Family statements for veracity but I have never seen them miss. They are in the media's crosshairs so they better get it right the first time. I can see this one one causing a lot of financial grief for McDonalds. The American Family Association called for a boycott of Ford Motor Company because of their blatant support for this outright sinful behavior and brought to the notice of this forum by Pete in MI. Over 700,000 people signed to boycott Ford Motor. Ford is actually in horrible financial condition at this time. Unfortunately for the workers they are producing far better quality vehicles than even a few years ago. That being said, I cannot contribute my support for a sinful agenda. McDonald's I'm no longer purchasing anything from your resturants and I'm notifying my friends and family.

I certainly was very disturbed by this information as I believe McDonalds targets children as consumers more than it does adults. I asked Corporate when they told me the story was, "a fabrication" if they were then going to release a statement denying the report. The answer was that they are working on it and will post something on their web-site. I agree with the financial considerations that they will have to calculate with any business affiliations. Obviously this report will hurt their profits. There seems to be to much valid information for this to be a hoax and apparently some of the LGBT sites are quite pleased with this release. Based on two independent organizations, the AFA and Focus on the Family, I am on board for a major boycott. I will be making some more contacts to see if we can get some national media attention to this. I am anxious to see how McDonalds will respond on the national level. Thank you again for the posts! most of your fortune 500 companies already support this movement. and have policies in place like domestic partner health benefits. now they are only becoming more vocal about it, but their policy has been the same for a long time. but if you were to boycott every company that is doing this, then you will have a hard time getting the things you need to live. want to change the future, then raise moral people to lead, its the only way. otherwise its putting a band aid on gangrene. we have a young generation of leaders now that are basically sociopaths, that don't care about anybody, but themselves and personal gain. this has happened because of the moral vacuum that has been getting larger and larger, because the Christians as a whole do not vote, and have been sending our kids to liberal colleges. now that they have been indoctrinated through the school system and the colleges, we are just reaping what was sown. change can only come by the same process, unfortunate it will take some time to undo. i will choose with patience and love to turn people and not aggressive behavior. i have learned long ago it is the holy spirits job to convict, that does not mean that i cant voice the true, but once i do, then i turn it over to the holy spirit to do the rest. if they will not listen to him they surely will not listen to me. even though the company is not doing the right thing, i still do not want to be responsible for people losing their jobs and the ability to support their families. let God do the judging. that way their is no blood on your hands. if God should tell you to do different than by all means be obedient, that you remain Innocent. what i am saying is dont get into to big of a hurry, to sharpen the ax. their is more than just corporate MD'S here.

[size=large]Hi KDC, I agree that other Fortune 500 companies also support these type of groups. BUT, I really take issue with McDonalds especially because they started as a family oriented business and for many years now have targeted our precious little ones with their TV campaigns provoking our children to opt for McDonalds everytime we drive by one. I am not a McDonalds fan anyway because of some of their "Kid oriented" promotions of cartoons, movies, etc. that some parents just don't see the danger they promote to families trying to "rear their children in the Lord" as we should do. I believe this press release will provoke the wrong kind of employees to flock to McDonalds for employment now. The very type of person I wouldn't want to handle my food, and especially any childs food! Folks please read Romans 1:24-31 very carefully! Some of the blame will have to be with the parents, Lord knows I have made mistakes as I raised mine. But as we grow and learn we should take just action as the Lord did when He turned over the tables of the money exchangers who defiled the temple, I'm sure they found other employment elsewhere but got the message. I say let us rather pray that the Lord will bless those who oppose this situation with McDonalds that are employed with them now find a better place of employment where they won't be surrounded by as much darkness! Maybe we cannot change every Fortune 500 company, but if we stick together on this one we may be able to bring about change to one! Hopefully we can set an example for others to see that will provoke other companies from making the mistake this one did. Sort of like voting, I vote all Christians boycott McDonalds and send a loud and clear voice that we refuse to have our children indoctrinated with an immoral agenda that opposes what the Lord has taught against in both the Old and New Testament. May God through His Holy Spirit lead and guide each of us on every decision we make and contemplate. [/size]
 
but if I am unaware that is one thing = to be aware and give money to their cause anyway I think is a big difference. Maybe I am wrong. To know to do good and do it not is sin. Wouldn't that also mean to know to do evil is sin - why do it???

To call evil good and call good evil is not right either. Just saying :)

i believe it is good to let these companies hear our voice, and i believe in making a difference. but in Jesus time did Jesus attack Rome directly even though they were an evil empire or did he make a difference one person at a time. if we would worry more about the person than everything else would fall into place. why just attack MD, because they are the ones that have your attention, why ignore the other companies that are doing the same thing. and let me tell you that is most of them. after MD will you go after the other ones with the same passion, and if not why. our government does many things everyday including supporting the same things MD does. why not over throw them and throw this country into chaos? i mean eventually we will regroup and regain our life's with enough time. what is a recession, a recession is when your neighbor loses his job, whats a depression, a depression is when you lose yours. i am not writing all this because i buy MD'S, the opposite is true, i never eat at MD'S. its not Md's that i am concerned for, it's the workers. not only that I'm sick of the torch and pitch fork lynching mobs. you can only change the world through love and teaching the youth in the way they should go , nothing else works, and if it does it is temporary at best. but change the person then it is for a life time. i agree with voicing our beliefs concerning this, if you don't use it you lose it, but i think we should be sensitive to the people and the impact it could have on some of them. understand i am not disagreeing with you, i only think that we should weight the cost of the actions before we act and organize such a thing. you have to be careful that in your zeal, that you don't damage your report with the people, if you do than you have no testimony. well i could go on and on, but i think i gotten my point across. its been great talking and i be praying for you all, pray for me.
