merc trifecta

moonshine

finds from an old swimmin/fishin hole i researched. a now dried up small pond near an older neighborhood. you know how much kids like water. heck, i did. i was SO, SO happy to find three mercs. each time i saw a shiny rim i was so stoked. they read a nice smooth 12-45. they werent very deep, maybe 3". i found 3 wheats also, i could really tell the difference now, 12-42,43 and with a less smooth tone. almost two-tone. and the large coin is an Irish "hen and chicks" one penny coin, (read 12-42, like a penny) no date, the back is completely encrusted with rust for some reason. getting a lot better understanding the etrac.

Nice finds moonshine, 3 mercs in one day is great. I have never seen a hen and chicks penny, that is cool. -- Randy
