I like to tinker with old detectors.Looking for a micronta radio shack 4001 detector thats still in great shape....thanks
 
ah c'mon now, if you keep that up, we're going to have to start calling you "kill-joy" ! haha
 
Those were neat little machines and did what they were sold to do. The 4001 did a great job for kids in tot lots. I sold quite a few of them in the 80's. I bet one or two of them were bitten by the detecting bug...:biggrin:
