Military pin and button

Need help identifying the military pin and button. I found these hunting wooded area in central Illinois. Thanks
 
Hi Matthhew

The cross rifles is an infantry medal probably the 10th US Infantry, Troop L . Google that and see if you can get more info. The Eagle is a general services, maybe a collar pin, that is still used today. That is the newest Great Seal of the US adopted early 1900's, maybe 1906 or somewhere in there.
 
world war 2 maneuvers finds.they trained all over this part of the country during the 40's. (Gen.Patton?)
 
Further research shows that the cross rifle hat pin dates from 1896 to 1905 and is 10th Infantry Regiment, Company L. Nice find Matthew.
