Military?

Hi again everyone. I haven’t been out much since moving about a year ago, but got out yesterday. I found this small disc in an old (late 1860s) military camp. It has S.T. Suttler 25.C stamped on it. As you can see it is a little bigger than a dime and is very thin. Back side is smooth. I also found some bullet brass with F.V.V & Co on it that I found online and dated to 1865-1868. And a two ring fired bullet. Can anyone help to identify the disc, and maybe the two ring bullet too. Thank you!

There is an S. T. Sutler token listed on the NGC Coin Explorer website as a civil war sutler token, but there is no picture or information. There seems to be quite a bit of information on google about civil war sutler tokens. You might also try posting this on the Findmall Civil War Forum. My guess is that it is either a civil war sutler pay token or a pickers check.

I have an update on my ST Sutler token. According to a local coin and Arizona colectable dealer it is a Samuel Todd token. Todd was the sutler for Fort Mohave in Arizona from 1857 to I think 1869. It came in 3 denominational varieties. The token is one of the oldest known tokens to be from Arizona and is very desirable to Arizona collectors. He said it is worth $2000-$3000. He offered me $2000 for it sight unseen. I was in such shock I actually asked him if he was kidding.
