Milspec Metal Detecting Accessories

Interested in hearing from anyone who has placed a order with Milspec and what the outcome was. I like their products and would like to place a order, but have read some negative comments about Milspec on the internet.
 
The thing I heard was DON'T send him any money. If you do be sure to kiss it good by.
 
Thanks for the replies, they most likely saved me money. Unfortunate about the companies demise as I liked their products.
 
Yes, It is too bad the guy is a bad business man as the covers were great quality. BUT you can buy the cover for the CTX off ebay from the Ukraine and they are very good quality. I have purchased covers from them for my CTX 3030, E Trac, F 75 LTD & AT Pro and they are all excellent. I believe the sellers user ID is vintagesnowflake
 
Might be easier to ask if anyone has had a good experience. Have read a lot that haven't and got an Attitude when concerns were raised with the owner.
You just cant be like that in this day of the Internet.
 
I have multiple items from Milspec..booty bags, ctx covers..etc. I wont sell any of mine and cant find anything that nice but I dont think he is making anything at the moment. I would just find another option for now.
 
What type of items are you looking for?
 
I do need another ctx cover for my new machine coming tomorrow
 
I bought the CTX cover with visor from them a couple of years ago and did not have a problem at all - very pleased. I don't know if things have changed since then however.
 
Have you checked out the Pro-Tectors covers for the CTX? They are top notch.

I looked at those and read some bad reviews, so I would caution caveat emptor
 
My Milspec display cover & visor, and WM10 holder have been great.

I have the pro-tectors cover set in black (just use the big cover portion & sold the rest)

Could not get the Velcro to keep it closed... so I sewed on 2 black large buttons with fishing line, and use a elastic hair band around them.
