Minelab equinox 800 price?

Am I wrong or has the price just gone up on the Equinox 800 ?
Trying not to be negative but with all the build quality issues i would have thought if anything the price would have gone down.
I guess they are selling so well they can afford sales to slowdown some so they can catch up on orders. I had to wait a week or so for my second one to ship a few weeks ago.
So why did I get a second one if they have so many problems? We all know its the technology. And I like the technology so much that I don't want to use any other detector.
Plus I got a brand new detector shipped to me at a really good price, and thats all I can say about that.

I heard they had a price increase first of February.

My understanding is the price is increasing on both Equinox models.
The 800 has already increased in price.

I talked to a dealer Sunday, after ordering my EQUINOX 600, and he stated the the 800 went up the first of February and the 600 will go up the later of February.
An increase of $50.00 on both models.
