Minelab Warranties are now Transferable!

Just letting all know that if you buy a new Minelab starting today this warranty is now transferable for the remaining warranty to another person if you sell it or buy one from someone else who purchased one starting today, July 1. Glad to see Minelab has finally come around on this issue as its a good thing!
 
Thats nice but what about the ones purchased previously that still have significant warranty time left on them? If they are not transferrable I wonder what the rationale is on that? If they would do that it would help the dealers to offer trade ins so people can more readily upgrade don't you think? It would make the "trade in" have more value so the dealer could sell them easier.
