Hit this local park that has been pounded for decades. They just bush hogged the woods and new ground. Been picking silvers for a few weeks. Today at 9" repeatable , but not a definite " dig me", this early American pops out!
1794. Missed the biggie by 1yr. Supposedly GW visited the tacern on the property. Wonder if he lost it. Not that lucky!
Anyway, 1st early Erican coin! Looking for silver one now!
 
Never found one of these, great find. Always nice to find a new area bush hogged at a park. We hunted a park and one day I found an area just cleared. I can't tell you how many Mercury dimes and standing Liberty quarters I found in that small area. Keep your eyes open.
