Missouri Ghost Town Gives Up Some Relics

Hi All:

Got to hunt again at a Missouri ghost town burnt during the Civil War with my 600 Equinox. A mixed bag of lantern parts, the brass bowl of a large spoon, a pice of glass, a pice of china, a broken part of a harmonica reed, some kind of tool, a piece of melted lead, three Civil War bullets and a flat button without a shank. A fun time hunting in spite of all the rain we've been having and the incresing heat.

Thanks for looking,

Nice mixed bag........I'll bet there's some more nice stuff just waiting for you to swing your coil over!

Love the post Jimmy....

Reality detecting.....So much more intriguing than coin shooting.

'Pennies' are impersonal, whereas artefacts are historical and more intimately related to the people and their past.

Wish I could have shared the occasion with you......Keep 'em coming Jim.......matt (UK)
