Modern Chinese Coin

I have been hunting public locations now for about three years. Today I found my first Chinese coin. It rang up as a 41 on the conductive side, and it was approximately 3 inches deep. I looked it up on the web and found it is worth 2 fen. I assume that is like 2 cents. The interesting thing is that it popped out shiny, but the dirt didn't come off easy like it does on silver coins. It turns out the fen coin is made of aluminum. My camera makes it appear brass or gold, but it is silver in color.

Has anyone else found this type of coin in the U.S.?

I have found older Chinese coins but I have never found one of those. Congrats on finding it!
