Low tide was about 8:30 so I headed out about 7:30 and coins kept coming started off with a barber then more dimes.
Had a nice 92 a 1914 barber and a 1942 Washington I also found two Indians a few clad coins not many and two musket balls copper pieces brass lots of old cut nails copper pipe and cleaned up a couple pounds of lead sinkers as I was heading out a real nice signal in the low 90’s.
I believed it was a Reale it was 1721 king Filipe V about 1” down!
Probably the oldest silver I’ve found that’s not an American silver .
I also found 3 buffalos and a V nickel I stayed abound 3 hours and the tide had come up .
This new 900 has definitely helped find these targets where I’ve detected many times with friends with our 800’s in one photo you can see how rocky it is not easy digging but worth it.
Dates are hard to see on most
4 barber dimes
6 mercury dimes
3 Rosie’s
3 Buffalo’s
One V nickel
Two Indians
A few wheats and clad coins
1 1914 barber quarter
1 Washington
Beach 1
Sensitivity 21-24
Recovery 5
No discrimination

Thanks everyone glad I can share some finds .It’s truly amazing how the 900 is unmasking a lot more coins in this spot literally same areas I’ve been over and over .
21 silver coins in two hunts now over 100 silver coins from this spot and there’s more I’m sure.
I only get about 2.5 hours of low water I like to start about 1-2 before low tide and the winter tides are lowest this time of year with the 50 degree days I can detect anywhere but I’m staying on the river.

I would have set up a tent, started a fire, and then loaded a shotgun with rock salt to keep the trolls at bay. Keep on hammering that place!!!!

That's a dream spot. How did you initially began to hunt it. (Private), know the people? Good on you hunting it, however it came about. HH jim tn
Thanks Jim I was out scouting spots along the river and checking on Google earth saw it was an old swimming area.
I never know what’s going to pop up most coins are very shallow but it’s loaded with bits of iron copper you name it it’s definitely an interesting spot the signals are mostly good one way so I’m cross crossing back and forth all directions and the coins still coming going back tomorrow am…
