MXsport vs. MXT pro

I have owned the basic MXT and never thought it was the depth monster many said it was. Recently purchased the MX Sport and love it. It does so much more than the MXT. The software is better and the display is much more user friendly. Yes, it is a little heavy but most whites machines are that way. They don't make a cell phone on a stick as other manufacturers do. If you like the MXT then stay with it. Don't bash another machine because you didn't get the results you were searching for. It's always easy to go back to a former machine when you are frustrated with newer technology. I own 5 Whites machines and everyone is slightly different than the other. Good luck with your MXT's.

I have owned the mx sport. Not the detector for me. There was only one selection on there that wasn't going crazy all the time with static. The one that was usable was pretty darn good. But why pay that for it when you can only use one selection.
The mxt all pro was the way to go for me. I can use all the selection on there, every one. It's just a super detector.

The MXT Pro .... fantastic machine ....my only gripe....No volume control ......The MXT Pro is very loud machine..... park goers on the other side of the park will know when you have a Target . :p It’s always 100 degrees in S. California:cool:

Gotta go with the machine that you "know" the best. For me, the MXT is the best all-around metal detector IMHO. I have found hundreds of relics and old coins with it in LA. It is battle proven.
