MXT book

I got the book about a month ago. I find the writing redundant at times and it is obviously not written by a professional writer. That being said the overall content is exceptional from a person who really is an expert on his subject. Since I read the book my Silver count in 1 month is equal to my last 12 months. I found it worth the price and would recommend it to anyone that wants to get more out of their new MXT.

I second that. I've read thru it about 5 times and pick something new up every time. Extremely detailed information on all the settings and how they work.
My wife bought the book before I even new about the MXT Pro she ordered for me. Told me that she was told this was the best source to learn the machine from. I have read it through about ten times and I do learn something about the machine when I do. It is redundant in many places, but I figure I would rather have an expert write a book like this than some ghost writer that has no clues about the subject. It has not been easy at times to follow, but every time I read it, I appreciate what Jeff Foster has done.

The book might seem like a lot to comprehend, at first.
But, like everybody says, just keep reading it, youll always come away with something.
I started with reading " Relic Mode " related info, which is throughout the whole book, ie different chapters.
I highlight RELIC info in blue.
this year I started trying the PROSP. mode
i highlight things related in yellow.
Just makes it easier to find when I want to look up something Ive read.
As far as how its helped, I would still be fumbling around , and by now I might be getting a little
disgruntled with my MXT.
Thanks to the book , I know my machine is capable of much more than I will ever use
and the book helps me to learn its capabilities.
In my opinion, It is a MUST HAVE.
BTW, this year, in relic mode, using what I learned from the book,
In an OLD, Campground, with all sorts of trash, brass casings, aluminum, cans , old campfire rings with melted junk, etc
i discriminated through it, and found a 1901 barber dime.
without the knowledge obtained from the book,
I would have given up before I found the dime.

I agree with the others it's a good investment to go along with your mxt.
If you're new to the mxt the book may not make a lot of sense at first but keep swinging and keep going back and rereading the book and it will just keep falling into place and you'll understand it more each time.

Good investment but took me quite a few reads in many places to get the understanding. For the money it's surely worth having as an addition to the arsenal. If I had more time behind the machine I would probably understand it more.

Jeff also has done a chart comparison chart between the MXT & the MXT Pro. 
I printed out a copy to put in MXT book just incase I decide to upgrade in the future.

I see Jeff Foster posted the chart comparison about 12 postings before, I had seen it referanced on another forum. It will sure help out people which one to get.

I believe White should adopt this book along with there information pamphlet and give one to everyone that buys there Mxt. on page 2 of Jeff Fosters book he explains
that the book was meant to read cover to cover it was also supposed Tobe used as a reference book, that is the reason it is redundant is some areas, so you wouldn't
have to go back and look up some other section to go with what your reading, it was a tremendous help when I first bought my mxt, I have used it for a reference book
from time to time, I got a lot more out of my mxt after buying his book,
