My 15 x 12 SEF just shipped from Kellyco, I can't wait!

I just got notification that my 15 x 12 SEF coil shipped from Kellyco and will be here by weeks end. Any of you out there have any luck with this coil? Now just if we get a warm spell here in central PA all will be good. I am really exited about the prospect of digging some old silver soon.

The best coil imo for feilds and such. And wow does it go deep. But I think the best attribute of this coil is its ability to hit hard on a otherwise weak or choppy target. You will not be dissapointed. Also it is not terrible at separating targets or in trashy areas. Just a wee on the heavy side. I recomend Doc's swingy thingy although I should practice what I preach.

Thanks for the response and great opinion of the coil. I'm going to put it to the test at my parents home. They live in town and their house sits on 2 town lots that have been a residence for 125 years. I've hunted there 6 FULL days in the last 2 years. Three of those days were with a Tesoro Cortes and after I got my Etrac I hunted it another 3 full days. So far the site has given up 300 coins. The better finds are 8 Indian Head pennies and 3 silver dimes ( 1 Barber and 2 Mercs ). All of the silver and 6 of the IH's were found with the Etrac after I had already hunted the site 3 times with the Cortes and I know for certain that I passed over all of those coins with the Cortes. I'm really anxious to try the 12 x 15 there, The top soil is like butter and in most places 15+ inches deep. I'm pretty sure there are some deep treasures waiting to be found. My father had a lilac bush pulled up with a backhoe about 4 years ago and Barber half came up with the roots. I can't let that record stand. It's just not right that the best coin so far has been found by accident.

Im pretty sure if you go low and slow there will be some more treasures to unearth. Good luck and be sure to post your results. We look forward to them!!

Central Pa?--I am from York and am taking my 15x12 SEF to the Outer Banks in a week for some serious hunting. Will be using it with my e-trac---also taking along my excal II. Where do you call home?
