My 2007 Coins/Relics

2007 was a decent year for me, the ole XS is starting to wear out along with the user. However, I still managed a good year in coins and a fair year in relics.
Here is hoping you all have a great 2008 year.
All finds were made by my Explorer XS and this year I was about 50/50 on using the stock coil and ML 8 inch coil. Probably would have found all that I did with the 8 inch coil, in that the vast majority of finds were in the 4-8 inch range, including my last two coin finds, which both were barely 4 inches in the soil and yet were two of the oldest coins found. All coins were found in wooded areas more or less, no field hunting.

your posts and great pics. I found my first large cent in over 30 years of hunting a couple of months ago and it is so nasty...you can barely tell what it is...but to me it's priceless.
Yours are blazers and easy on the eyes. Great year you had and good luck in 08

Man! That is a fantastic collection of Old Coins and Artifacts found in 2007. You got some pristine hunting grounds Don! The finds maybe few and far between, but you know if you find something out in the woods, chances are it's going to be Very Old. Congrats on some fantastic finds you made in 2007.
