My AT PRO struck gold!

I knew this day would come but I was hoping for sooner than later! Well I'll settle for later if this is what I getta dig up! 18k gold antique ring with a big beautiful opal in the center. Rang up as a 52 solid and was about 2.5 to 3 inches deep. I'm guessing it was dropped with it the last yr or two cause it wasn't too deep and looked somewhat "clean" bu I know gold dosent tarnish. I decided to hit a local library between rain storms and right as it started pouring I got this beauty under a oak tree and it was one of those signals you don't pass up. As usual I was hoping for gold but figured a pop tab and gave a healthy woooo hoooo when I saw what was in the plug!!!! Now I'm heading to the jewler to see if I can get any info on age size of opal! Love m/d and my little lady is gonna be very happy tonight!

Very sweet congrats!

Yes Sir, that's a Sweet ring! Congrats

Rings are always a good find, but that one is really nice

Excellent find, congrats man! It may not, however, be a recent loss. This 16.7g 18k Indian ring that I found a few years ago was only three inches deep. When I was able to find and return it to the original owner, he said he had lost it 20 years prior!
