How does a dime get that worn? Are hunting in the surf?
Not hunting in surf. I was in a worked out park. Every time I go there I get at least 1 silver but you half to work for it.

Congrats!:clapping: Those finds would make me feel both satisfied yet still hungry for more! Personally I wouldn't have it any other way.:detecting:

Congrats on the great looking Ring and other finds !
I've found a few Merc's in similar conditon - they were either near a house fire - driven over for many years in a stone driveway or worn down by the moving sand on a beach.

Often the silver coins are affected by chemicals used on the park grounds (or the farmers' fields, or wherever), such as fertilizers, pesticides, etc. That's the only thing I can think of that might cause such a condition. Kinda makes one not want to go "barefoot in the park", doesn't it?
