Shawano came over and we headed out to go diggin. We got to location #1 to ask permission, and were soon passed by a fire truck. We seen smoke in the distance so we followed. The smoke got darker and bigger as we went along. Ya see Shawano is a free lance photographer for the Gazette, so this turned into a money maker for him! :) We get there and there are several trucks from several departments. It just so happens that I knew the next door neighbors of the family that had the fire. Seems the 80 something year old fella that uses a walker had fell asleep in his work shop and his cat woke him up just in time for him to get out of the fire. Here are some pics. Notice the US flags on the trucks! No one was hurt. Praise the Lord! Details later on the hunt! :)

no one was hurt and it was just his workshop that burned and not the house.

Didn't know Shawano was a freelance photographer. I was going to do that many many years ago (1970s) but bounced around in the military to get established. Cool being in the right place at the right time.

Hey where'd ALL them trucks come from? We probably have 2 trucks...the fire truck and the one that brings the marshmallows.
