My first "badge"....silver steak continues...

still on my silver streak since my rest period... 20 steps from my truck I dug the Merc, first signal of the morning. A few minutes later the Washington, then it was all trash and clad until I found the badge... I even found the pin in the hole...

I know the newer badges are different... I have a friend who works for the PD and might be able to show me where to look/ask... no ID number or badge number... it was not deep, like 2 or 3 inches... rang up 12-48 but I know it's not silver... just a big conductive target!

Makes me think it might be like a police reservist or similar. I’ve even seen crossing guards for schools get something close to that. Still, its a good find!!!
