My first Half Penny 1770

Over excited! this is my oldest coin found. Found an old path near town in a 1938 aerial photo. the path can't be seen now so I over-layed the photo onto google earth. The path area produced some silver barbers and mercs then I found this. Signal was not too good but I sure am glad I dug it! To think this was being used here before we were an independent nation. Too cool!

Congrats on a very nice find! Good research work also.

That is awesome. Definitely pays to do that research. Congrats on the 1/2 penny.

Any coin from the 1700's is a fantastic find - a big congrats ! :clapping:
