Got out for a couple of hours this afternoon. I went to an old house that has a huge yard that I have been wanting to try for a while. I got permission to go and headed straight to the front yard. I made a pass down the sidewalk and found a couple of old wheaties. Close to the road I got a great signal that came in like a deep Indian, dug me a deep plug and saw that awesome sight of a Minie Ball, but this one is the bigger .69 caliber. Before you know it I was digging one after another from a small area. One I dug was an Enfield with an "L" stamped inside the base and dug some .58 calibers as well. I have dug a few CW bullets but it is still an awesome thrill to see these in the dirt. In between the bullets I was digging a few clad coins and got a 12-46 and thought it would be another deep clad quarter, I was excited to see silver and was a nice Barber. I did not know it had a mint mark until I was taking photos and I was very happy to see the little "O". It turned out to be an awesome afternoon for relics and silver. HH David
