I live in northern Arkansas It is a 1837 and I can't find a mint mark even using a jewelers loop

Looks like an early rosette. Spur part. Check around that area.
 
Actually the coin was found on the opposite side of the ridge from the other stuff. I went back today where I found the coin and worked the area for two hours and not another signal that wasn't modern trash. Don't know why I can't get something else out of that spot. Must have been a fluke that I found the coin where I did.
 
Congrats, I found my first Seated Dime,1872, today. its a great feeling!!!!!
