That thing you think is a button I have found a few and I think their lead and their sewn into garmets to weigh down the hems like on jackets and overgarmets and such so they hang down properly on your body.

I can't help it! when it is decent outside in January, I am off work, EVERYONE is posting finds, I just HAVE to get out there and dig somehow!!!!! Where do you live? I am in NW Ohio. Your welcome to hunt with me anytime this season!
