My hunt today

Nock

New member
A friend and I hunted a sowbean field that once had a house on it. The area was full of nails, I was hunting with 2 tone ferrous passing over iron like crazy. I got a repeatable high tone along with a low tone and the curser was showing in upper right , I think it was at 1/30. I dug pulled out a nail and using my pro pointer I still was hearing something in the hole, kept digging and there she fell from the side of the hole a 1840 large cent. My next dig a few feet from that dig was my next cool find, a wedding band with 18k in the I.d. a very heavy ring but the color was greenish looking it must been in the dirt as long as that large cent was , my thought is could the owner of that ring may have dropped that large cent. Had a fun day with my friend.

Nice finds!
I'm wondering about your ring, though.............it shouldn't be green. I've found two rings that were marked 14K ( no other marks) & they were both partly green........and fake!
Hope your's is real!
