My new Safari will be here tomorrow, yea!

Hi Regis
Hope you enjoy hunting with your safari when it arrives, I have been using mine for 8 months now & I'm well pleased with it:thumbup: This is the first digital display & target machine Iv owned still learning all the sounds etc, tip for you try not to take the visual target id as gospel. Mine shows tin foil image over some small gold rings & roman coins?, if you don't want to miss the goodies try hunting in all metal to start with. Iron will give low buzz or grunt sounds while non ferrous will give high pitch squeal's ( so low sounds bad targets & high sounds good targets ) don't get me wrong you will still dig plenty of ring pulls / bottle tops & tin foil as these are all ferrous but you wont leave any of the good stuff in the ground. Quick point on digging remember to take a spade with you as your gonna need it as this baby goes deep, good luck & good hunting.
cheers:ukflag:

I just got my Safari today and noticed how well this detector is put together. The
fit and finish is great. I'll practice with it tomorrow. Next day I'll take it out for a spin.

The detector does not make a succesful MD hobbyist. Consistent and constatn feld work will bring in the goodis you seek. You've got to be smart about where you search and how. Use and learn the detector it will take time so don't get discouraged if your dreams of riches from the soil do not come about. You will only get good with practice and learning the detector.

Good look and welcome to being a Safari owner.
