That would be a first for me.That coin is in great shape. What were the soil conditions for each coin?GR
The bad one was down 8-9" and the soil was in a place where a lot of drainage took place (muddy pasture).
The good one was down about 6" and soil was very sandy. For copper this is my best condition coin find to date.
I've been running my ExII wide open and digging everything. Also been playing with my DFX and finds are going up
for both. Good luck...

I've only found one, being an 1864. Would love to find more of them since you just don't see them that often. Good Luck and HH.
