My recent finds

7centsworth

Well-known member
I finally remembered to take some pictures before I put them in my jar. The 3 coins at top left are 2 wheat pennies and a 1953 canadian penny. One of those wheat pennies , the one with all the green I dug at 8 inches . My deepest ever penny , I thought I had dug an indian , but it turned out to be a 1951 . The other penny was a1944D. The little yellow box is an old bayer aspirin container it said 15 cents on it . I managed to find these at an old church friday built in 1892 .

Yes I know and I am excited. It will take me months to hunt it out. The church still looks original and they still go to church there.

Congrats on getting out and finding even the deeper ones! There may be fill dirt on the church yard being the 1951 was 8' deep! Just keep at it and when you get the trash dug and out of the way, you may start finding the better coins and old relics! :) God Bless! Betty

That deep on was right beside a drive way that circles the old church that is probably what made it so deep. Man I wanted it to be an indian head as I have never found one YET. Someday I will dig one and Yall will probably hear me yelling across the country.

keep digging all signals even iffy signals that are not good, a deep indian does not give a real good signal. And if it has iron close by it might give a horrible signal, just dig everything you can
