My Second Barber Dime...Still searching for a Merc.

I came across a small really old looking house with weeds growing like crazy...so I offered to mow the weeds in exchange for my being able to hunt the front yard. One of the two really old men living there proceeds to tell me that I will not find anything because back in 1985, they removed 5 gallon bucket fulls of dirt from the basement, and transplanted them to the front yard. Well, I mowed the weeds and hunted for a few hours.... I found several Wheat pennies, and on the side of the yard with noticeably higher dirt, I found a 1915-D wheat at about 1 inch, and within a foot of that I found another shallow coin, a 1916 Barber Dime.... I am guessing they came from the basement? Well, I have been trying to find my first Mercury Dime....but instead have skipped right past with 2 barbers and one seated liberty.... what rotten luck I have.:clapping:

I have found several Mercs and cannot find a Barber. So I consider you to be lucky. And that is a very nice Barber by the way!

That's awsome..... it's a beautiful coin!!!!!!!!!!!!!
