Got out for some sun before nasty front moves in tonight. Hunting where I had got a V nickle before and a Washington silver quarter.Get a good signal. Thought a quarter ,nice 82-83 on my fisher f75ltd ,but going also to a solid 92. So i thinks hmm, a silver, Washington quarter, i was taken totally off guard when i dug this up. Yes even alone, I yelled ya hoo. Roughed the back side a tad. I was hoping to get something older again to close out the soon to end season; it was just the ticket. Good Hunts All, CO

Thanks all for looking and the comments. They are an attractive coin. My to find list is large, what i really hope for some day is a capped bust, they are a sight. Good Hunts All, CO

Woohoo! Happy dance time! Great detail on that one. I got an 1876 quarter too this year - completely smooth but date was readable - yours rocks!

What a fantastic looking old coin - congrats ! :clapping:

Sweet find, now as everyone states lately that's a bucket lister. Well, at least there is still the great anticipation of the future hunt. That's the reason we keep on hitting it right, because they are still out there. Mine has to be close, see! anticipation
