Hi guys, I went out today for about 3.5 hours at this park where they have the farmers market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It was pretty fun, I encountered an old timer that was using a Fisher metal detector. He told me that people should not cut plugs on the grass because that will kill the grass. That he had been kicked out of parks because of what other people do. He told me not to do it. He said he had been doing this for the last 20 years. He pulled two baggies of rings and what not. He's like I sold sooooooooooo many of these for money and for beer. He showed me everything he found today!!! Pull out a hand full of coins and what about you? I took out about the same amount too.
I almost asked how he gets old coins out of the floor if he doesn't cut plugs but I didn't want to make him mad.
I noticed that he didn't have any trash either, he doesn't collect the trash like us to make the place cleaner. Weird!! I thought him been the pro would have a better way of doing his metal detecting. He showed me a screwdriver grinded into a spike, when I asked him. Don't you scratch your coins with this? He just looked at me and said, yeah. I do it all the time. Ouch!!!:

He went his way and I went mine to continue my destructive ways of plug making. J/k No more plugs unless I know there will be old coins in that park or What do you guys think? I make them super neat that you wont notice where I made it but does it really kill the grass? Can you guys tell me if you've seen dead patches of grass because of this?
I found quite a bit of clad. Some more deteriorated coins and my second foreign coin. A Two Euro coin that I really liked. Pretty shiny and big. I hope to get some opinions from you guys. Thanks!
