National Historic Landmark,

Delta Queen leaving downtown Peoria, IL on one of it's last trips before being retired to dry dock as a stationary hotel in Chattanooga Tennessee. The Queen spent a full day docked in Peoria and just started to put the coal to it as it was heading South under the I-74 bridge. Nancy and I spent the weekend docked at the Peoria docks on our boat and this was the best, IMHO, of many pictures I took of the Queen.

I saw a similiar looking boat like this one many years ago going down the Mississippi River near Memphis, Tennessee. Larry, this is a great photo! Kelley (Texas)
