Need Headphone Advice.

I need a new pair of Headphones for my explorer. I have the Koss headphones that came with the detector, but I found the cord to short, and because of that the wire broke inside. Will pay up to $150.00. Looking at the Grey Ghost and Black widow. Any other headphones I should look at. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

To each his own. I have used the Ratphones, found them to be problematic (may just be a bad set). I have since bought the Sunray pros, they are comfortable, sound great and no technical issues. Love them! Also recently bought the wireless radio shack phones. they have been nice to use in the thicker woods where the cord would normally get hooked on every tree branch. No more snags!

I only use the Ratphones, and the rest of the group uses Killer B headphones and they both work well with the Explorer detectors.

I personally like the earbud style they are incredibly light and very good audio, oh and they dont sweat my head off. They generally have 6 foot cord on them so they dont bet jerked off your head when you set down the machine and dont bet tangled. One more thing they only cost $5-$10. Just my 2 cents worth.

I recently got the Ratphones and I am very happy with them. The cord jacks in either end to the headphones (reversible)for stereo/mono use. The cord has good reach and the memory snaps the coil back to rest well. A spare cord can be purchased if need to be. No regrets on purchase...

Every problem ever reported is listed on our web site failure reports.
If you had a problem (which is very rare) they would be fixed promptly.
If any one would like, I can show you the calculations that would show why most controls used by other brands are too low in wattsge for an MXT. The current can be too high and cause failure.
