Need help identifying item

Grandkiddos are here this week so I did a seeded hunt yesterday in my back yard. They had a blast! This morning Annie & Logan were back at it cleaning up the last hidden coins when Annie says she has a good signal. I look up and she has wandered out of the hunt area...but she is right..it IS a strong signal even with the disc turned up. Up out of the dirt comes this item. Have no clue what it is....any ideas?

No Idea, But Like he Idea of a Hunt for the Children, Maybe i can start something here at my Home and bury some Coins in my Next Years Garden Plot

Yep. I'd say candle snuffer.

My first thought was a candle snuffer too, but it probably wouldn't work very well if it could still get air? So it probably is an incense burner, because I've never seen a candle snuffer with holes in it. Just a thought.

Has to be a bell.

It looks the the top of an incense burner from the 1960s-70s. The incense was in small squares about 1/2" x 1/4".
