HI, my one month old T2 went crazy friday nite right after I found a 1828 large cent, detector is in overload condition when turned on,if I unplug coil it does the same thing,it keeps saying raise coil ,overload conition, any suggestions please?

I would simply call.......don't email.........the factory. Ask to speak to a T2 tech. Sounds like service is needed. The number is 1-800-413-4131

Those darn 1828's, we gotta put a warning in the user's manual not to swing over 1828's, that date will blow a machine every time!

Actually, the thing to do is to check the obvious stuff-- put in new batteries, disconnect and reconnect the searchcoil and make sure it's installed securely. If those things don't resolve the continuous overload problem, it's probably a failed searchcoil, but it could also be something failed inside the machine. Which presumably means a trip to the metal detector hospital in El Paso.

Dave J.....and his crazy humor:) And yes...do follow his suggestions before calling. He's the lead engineer of the compnay that manufactured your machine.

sounds like your coil took a dump.
Same thing happened to mine practically out of the box.
Factory is great at responding and fixing the unit quickly, but seems to be a well documented issue. bummer...
