Negative ground balance

Going on a club hunt this weekend..CW bullets etc are deep in these fields..
Anyone tried getting more depth with the X by going a little negative on the ground balance?

I have always found the Vista X to perform best with a spot on Ground Balance so it runs smooth and the soft hits can be heard. The depth is there but you have to be able to hear it.

I ALLWAY FOUND ANY METAL DETECTOR IS BEST TO SET SLIGHTLY POSTIVE IN BAD GROUND/ SALT SOIL VS SETTING NEATIVE. YOU MY GET LITTLE MORE FLASING SETTING GROUND BALANCE POSTIVE BUT STILL HEAR DEEP TARGETS/SOFT TONES VS SETTING NEGIVE WHICH WILL MISS WEAK DEEP TARGETS

Find some faint targets and try it. Depending on your ground, you might be surprised. I don't think hard and fast rules apply in every situation.
