New Accessories W/new Explorer Se Pro

New member
I recently purchased a new explorer from a company that sales for minelab. When I received my detector the only thing I received with the Explorer was Battery, charger, and headphones. I was watching a video of another person who was opening there explorer for the first time he received two finds bags, carrying detector bag, two books besides owners manual, digging tool, and all the things I received in addtion. Have I been left out? Did they mess up my order at minelab. My detector came directly from minelab so is that why i didn't recive all the extra accessories? Thwe price was the same here as it was at the other places that I know you get all these accessories from. Just wondering what others received direct from minelab??????

Sounds like a dealer that didn't offer a particularly sweet deal. Have him issue a call tag for it and get your money back. There are much better deals out there -- check out some of the forum sponsors.

i was wondering about that the other day. so i went on ebay and compared what accessories are given with what packages. there's as many differant deals as there are dealers. the guy in the video , the one i saw, got his stuff from kellyco and that was quite some time ago. i just got mine and was comparing what is offered to what i got. i got a steal. for the same price as most dealers i still would have gotten more useful goodies. that was the dealer i found. i paid less and got just what i agreed to. you have to read the ads. they're all differant. so far all throw in the junk koss 30 headphones. the batteries are part of the deal also. the dealers can sweeten what minelab gives. it's up to them. instead of the 1600 battery pack i received the 1800. instead of a minelab knockoff i got the letche digger as part of the deal. as far as i've learned on any product, you always get a better deal thru a dealer. so i would say you left yourself out by not going to a dealer.
live and learn.

If those freebies wasn't stated in the deal, you don't get them-----BUT you DEFINITELY should have received the following as they come with the Minelab SE Pro directly from Minelab (are included by Minelab in the purchase of the detector).-----You didn't mention owners manual (should have been in there) as well as alkaline battery pod, 1600 re-chargeable battery pack, house charger & UR 30 head phones.----Your detector came with the 11" lightweight Pro DD coil, right?-----It was supposed to have.

I just purchased a new Minelab SE Pro also, and received the standard owners manual, 2 battery packs, Koss headphones, and wall charger. Pretty much standard unless you pay the extra cash for all the extras.

someone is not shopping around first. :wiggle:

Minelab sets the minimum price that a dealer can charge for the machine. So dealers are bound by that price, but can throw in extras like Lesche diggers, pro headphones like Gray Ghost NDT, Minelab accessories like the Minelab padded case, or even Andy's book. These deals are fairly common - check out some of the forum sponsors for example or drop me a PM if you want. Of course each has his own package and some are better than others.

Just purchased my SE from New England Detectors it came with all factory accessories. Koss U30 headphones, charger and battery, AA battery and Minelab carry bag extras were Lesh digger, Gps,Motorola Walkie talkies,Nicon Cool Pics camera and a muti purpose knife and 1 year extra warranty all for $1098 GREAT DEAL I THINK

Go to Detector Depot web site and check out their freebies. There are great sponsers here on the forum that throw in stuff you can use. Tell us where you bought your machine from so we will all know.

thats why i think i should have gotten more from minelab. But its hard to ask a question on here without a bunch of smart axxes chiming in. Widebody"now thats a nice username" everybody is not as smartas you and gravedigger"thats a real family name too". you guys must be like some others i know. you're computer forum "know it alls". I think its a true shame and says a lot about this forum when you cant assk a honest question without to school class clowns showing there true colors. So guys if your not answering my simple question. Stay off my thread. You bunck of low down no good for nothing high jackers :ranting:

Mitch, If you have not used the machine, then I'd package it up and try to return it to the dealer that you bought it from. Is there a money back guarantee or something? Then buy from a forum sponsor that has an awesome package deal. Best of luck, Erik

I ordered mine from Kellyco for $1098, and got Koss UR 30 headphones, battery pack, rechargeable battery back, all purpose knife, Kellyco treasure apron, lightweight backpack, trailblazer bag, Automax v4 pinpointer, Maxam all purpose knife, Andy's book, book of beach sites for finding reales, Minelab deluxe carrying bag, Gator Digger, Lost treasure magazine, Minelab finds pouch and because I ordered a detector over $1000, I got a Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 for $80, which I have heard is a great detector. All of it was of surprisingly good quality

I want stuff I can really use, like:

Free UPS Shipping, Free Environmental Cover, Free Andy Sabisch's New Book, Free Authentic Minelab Padded Carry Bag, Free Authentic Lesche Standard Trowel, and Free Headphone Upgrade to Gray Ghost NDT or similar pro headphone.

well mitch i'm sorry if you got offened. my comment was not meant to be disrespectful.
my name, widebody goes back to my old employee number, 747. a nick-name given to me by my work-mates. if you don't like nick-names that of course is your choice. i would ask that you not insult others who have them. you take care .
