Hi.I just got home and my new ctx was waiting.When i was checking to see if everything had come with it i noticed the cap was not on the headphone adapter.The little cap that you use to keep dirt out of the connector.Does anyone know of something else you could use for this?I can't wait to try this beast out.It's charging right now.

Not sure if this is what you're talking about......but the little cap for the waterproof jack is secured inside the headphone module. Take off the module and you should see it. You'll need to use the cap when the detector is at risk of getting wet, if you've not plugged in waterproof headphones.

Yes thats the cap i'm talking about but it's not inside the headphone module.The spot is there for it but the cap wasn't in there.It must of fell out at the factory because it wasn't even lose in the box that it came in.Any help would be great on what to use instead.I know i can't get one from my dealer.

If I recall, some guy posted that same question up here a week or so ago. He said he'd called Minelab Customer Support and they were going to send him a replacement. Worth a phone call. HH Randy
