New detector ???

i am curious if anybody in the USAhastried the AlgoForce E1500 plus ?

I tried it for a while for smaller nugget gold prospecting.

I decided to stick with Garrett Axiom which is much easier to operate and setup with just about the same weight.

Algo has a 0-99 target ID system when you go into is non-motion pinpoint mode but it does not have any iron reject or iron discrimination. Iron can be anywhere on that 0-99 target ID range.
Algo can use a ton of different mono coils made for the Minelab GP3000 up to GPX5000 series detectors and aftermarket ones made for Whites TDI.
Algo is a button pushers dream pulse induction detector and all of the buttons and features are right on the control unit.
Algo handled EMI really well.

Algo would make a decent deep coin and relic pulse induction detector since those target IDs were pretty accurate on deeper targets if you already knew what targets you were likely to find and had already learned their target IDs.

There is no technical or service support for the Algo in North America. Any potential repairs would have to be done in Australia.

Garrett Axiom was just as sensitive to small gold nugget targets and was able to detect deeper with similar sized coils.

I sold my Algo and got the Minelab Goldmonster 2000 and I am definitely REALLY liking the GM2000

What small coil would you recommend for the Axiom in iron trash and small nuggets.
Alaska is horrible for iron trash.

Two small Axiom coils are available: 11x7” mono and 11x7” DD.The DD works well with the Axiom’s iron audio reject feature.
