Last Wednesday I posted my first multi silver day with my new E-Trac (less than two months old). Today I hit three more silver coins in a 100 year old city park I've been hunting for the past two months. A 1918D Mercury, a 1903S Barber and an 1841 Half Dime. I also found two buffalo nickles. One with no date and one dated 1914. I looked hard for a D or S mint mark, but no such luck. Found a couple of wheat pennies and several new coins. I love half dimes. I relic hunt a lot and have found fourteen in Civil War camps, but this is a first. Finding one in a park. It read 12/41 and was about 9" on the depth meter. Due to it's small size, it was only about five inches deep. I figured with those numbers it was a deep wheat, or possibly an Indian Head penny, That's the great thing about this hobby. You just never know for sure what will be unearthed.
